I just want to say that thank you so much for this wonderful trip and I had an amazing tour guide Safar, not only he is extremely patient with me but he is very supporting and encouraging. I had the best experience so far, the trekking wasn’t easy but I made with my team mate, the view at the rim was so beautiful, you could see the volcano, sunset and sunrise up there.
Also shout out to the porters who carried our food / water / tents etc , you guys are also amazing and cooked the most amazing food.

Very well organized from pick up at the hotel to drop off at the end. Our groups guide, Anton, was awesome it was really good getting to know him during the hike. I did the 2D1N, it was a tough climb but worth it. Even tougher for the porters, shout out to them for carrying up our tents and food (which was restaurant quality) and making sure we had a comfortable journey. The view at the top was spectacular. Very surreal experience.

Wonderful guides Mario, Alek and Micha ensured this was an incredible 2 day hiking experience. They were very professional, thoughtful and attentive , helping us through the challenging ascent and descent!
Totally worth the effort. Glad we opted for the crater rim and not the summit on this trip. Summit would have been too much for us and our teenage girls I think...Maybe next time!
The views of the lake and the crater are exceptional and we could see over to Bali and the Gilis at sunrise.
