One Day Trek Senaru Crater Rim

One-day trek to Senaru Crater Rim in Mount Rinjani National Park is offered for travelers who do not want to camp on Mount Rinjani or have limited vacation time in Lombok. The trek starts early in the morning (in the middle of the night) from the Senaru entrance gate at 601 meters above sea level and ascends to the peak of the crater rim at 2641 meters above sea level. Walking through the dark, dense tropical forest, you will reach the peak of the crater rim in the morning to witness the sunrise. The trek concludes back in Senaru Village around noon. Throughout the trek, you may hear noises from wild animals such as monkeys, birds, deer, and insects. At the Rinjani crater rim, you will be treated to spectacular views of Mount Rinjani, Segara Anak Lake, a baby volcano, and savanna. The total distance covered is 16 kilometers round trip.

The one-day Trekking Rinjani to Senaru Crater Rim is designed for those with limited time in Lombok who still wish to experience the breathtaking views of Rinjani. The trek begins early at 12 a.m. in Senaru village (601m) and leads to Senaru crater rim as the final destination, returning to Senaru village on the same day via the same route.
