Pergansingan Hill Sunrice Hike, If you are in North Lombok and seeking a breathtaking brief trek, Pergasingan Hill is an ideal choice. Known as Bukit Pergasingan, this trail is appropriate for a wide range of hikers and provides some of the most stunning vistas in Lombok. It is recommended to embark on this hike at sunrise or sunset, and you also have the option to camp at the summit with the assistance of a trekking guide.
Pergasingan Hill, also known as Bukit Pergasingan, is a hill that stands at an elevation of 1750 meters in the quaint mountain village of Sembalun. The hike to the main viewpoint at the summit typically takes a little over an hour and is accessible to hikers of various skill levels, making it suitable for almost anyone. It is highly recommended to experience Pergasingan Hill at sunrise or sunset for breathtaking views. We opted to begin our hike up Pergasingan Hill very early in the morning as we enjoy sunrise hikes, and the sunrise vistas were truly stunning.
At 3 AM, we will pick you up from your hotel in Senaru and drive you to Sembalun village, which is about a 1-hour car ride away. Upon arrival in Sembalun village, the trek will take approximately 2 hours to reach the top of the hill. Once at the summit, you can enjoy breakfast while witnessing a stunning sunrise. From this vantage point, you can admire the breathtaking views of Gili Lampu and Gili Sulat off the coast of East Lombok, as well as other hills in the valley and the rice fields of Sembalun Valley to the east. This location offers the perfect panoramic photo opportunity. At 8 AM, we will hike back down to Sembalun village, where we initially began the trek, and then drive back to our office in Senaru for lunch. After lunch at our office, we will drop you off at your hotel in Senaru.
