Trekking Rinjani Summit 2 Day 1 Night, Are you eager to take on the challenge of climbing Mount Rinjani but have limited time available? Then this 2-day, 1-night trek is perfect for you! Begin in Sembalun, we will hike through a stunning savanna desert to reach the Sembalun Crater Rim, located near the Rinjani summit. Along the way, marvel at the breathtaking scenery and unique flora and fauna of the Rinjani National Park.
Enjoy a delicious dinner with a breathtaking sunset view of Mount Rinjani, followed by an early morning ascent to the summit at 2am to witness the sunrise. The panoramic views from the summit are truly unforgettable, making every step of the challenging trek worthwhile.
After returning from the summit, we will have a hearty second breakfast before heading back to Sembalun. This trek is ideal for experienced hikers and travelers seeking a thrilling adventure and physical challenge. With its demanding terrain and high altitude, this trek is not for the faint-hearted. However, the sense of accomplishment and the breathtaking views make it an unforgettable experience.

Itinerary
The Ascent
After approximately 2 hours of walking, we will reach Post 1 at 1,300 meters. A further 40 minutes of trekking will bring us to Pos 2 at 1,500 meters. We will then continue to Pos 3 at 1,800 meters, where we will stop for lunch.
Reaching the Crater Rim
Following lunch and a short break, we will proceed to the Sembalun crater rim at 2,639 meters. This challenging 3-hour trek involves a steep climb, but the breathtaking views from the top make it well worth the effort.
Camping on the Crater Rim
We will camp overnight on the crater rim, offering the unique opportunity to witness both sunrise and sunset views. This unforgettable experience will leave you in awe of the natural beauty of Rinjani.

- Wake up at 02:00 AM for a light breakfast
