Itinerary
08:00AM Begin your Mount Rinjani adventure by registering at the Rinjani Information Center (RIC) in Sembalun Village, situated at 1,051m.
Trekking to POS 1, 2, and 3
â– Start your trek to POS 1 (Pemantauan) at 1,300m, approximately a 2-hour walk from RIC.
â– Take a 10-minute rest at POS 1 to recharge.
â– Proceed to POS 2 (Tengengean) at 1,500m, about a 1.hour walk from POS1.
â– Take a 1-hour break for lunch at POS 2.
â– Continue to POS 3 (Pada Balong) at 1,800m, approximately a 1-hour walk.
Trekking to Sembalun Crater Rim
â– Note that the trek from POS 3 to Crater Rim is quite steep.
â– Ascend for approximately 3 hours to reach the Sembalun Crater Rim (Plawangan Sembalun) at 2,639m.
Overnight at Sembalun Crater Rim
â– Enjoy dinner and overnight accommodations at the crater rim.
â– Take in the breathtaking sunset and prepare for the spectacular sunrise the next day.
Pre-Dawn Summit Ascent
â– Wake up at 02:30 AM and enjoy a light breakfast
â– Embark on a challenging 3-hour and 20-minute ascent to the summit of Mount Rinjani (3,726m)
Breathtaking Views from the Summit
â– Take in the stunning panoramic views of Lombok Island, Bali, Sumbawa, and Segara Anak Lake
â– Capture unforgettable moments and marvel at the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape
Descending to Segara Anak Lake and Hot Spring
â– Return to the camp for breakfast
â– Descend to Segara Anak Lake (2,000m) and the nearby hot spring, approximately a 3-hour walk
â– Enjoy lunch by the lake, with the hot spring just a short 100m walk away
Relaxing in the Hot Spring and Preparing for Descent
â– Unwind and rejuvenate in the natural hot spring
â– Prepare for the descent to Propok Campsite (1,600m), approximately a 2.5-hour walk
â– Spend the night at Propok Camp, surrounded by the serene sounds of nature.
Morning Sunrise and Breakfast
â– Wake up at 06:00 AM and enjoy a hearty breakfast
â– Take in the breathtaking sunrise views, a perfect way to start the day
Descending to Torean
â– Begin the descent to Torean at 07:00 AM
â– Trek through the open savannah for 2 hours, followed by a 4.5-hour journey through the lush jungle
â– Enjoy lunch along the way at Birisan Nangka (1,100m), specially prepared by our team
Arrival in Torean and Conclusion of Trek
â– Arrive in Torean at 02:00 PM, marking the end of our trekking adventure
â– Drive to the Lombok Volcano Trekking office (30 minutes) for a final farewell and conclusion of our journey.
